First time to see Avenged Sevenfold - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Tonight was one of the last stops of the Welcome to the Family Tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace (only band of the 4 that I've seen), Bullet for My Valentine, and Halestorm.

I've been looking forward to this concert for 2 months, had to buy my ticket through stub hub because I wanted to be in the pit. I got there way early because I wanted to beat the 5 o'clock traffic. Got me some dinner and relaxed in the parking lot before I went to wait in line. Waited in line for an hour and a half. I would have been one of the first 100.

At 5:55, just before the doors open, we see the tail end of the line start going to their cars and as well as the security staff telling everyone whats going on. Turns out that someone in Avenged Sevenfold got really sick and they waited til the last possible moment to postpone the show.

I'm so freaking pissed off, not at the band tho because I understand that it happens and they are actually humans lol. I couldn't sleep last night because I was so freaking excited for this concert. Now I have to wait and see when it gets rescheduled.

that definitely sux, I have seen them and they kick azz.

That's what I heard, my plan was to be front row or as close as possible.

i was at their nashville show. it was AMAZING!...... i got my first speeding ticket afterwards though. Halestorm wasn't there so i am a little dissappointed now...

They were up here in Iowa for Lazerfest (huge all day rock concert, usually out doors at the balloon fields here in town), wasn't too many other bands that I cared for though so I didn't end up going this year, plus it was raining all day.

Geez. They'd had to been really sick. That's a LOT of money. They're supposed to be playing here sometime this month. I haven't really listened much since the 2nd album, so I'm not sure if it'd be worth the $60.

I heard of The Damned Things on xL Faction yesterday. Blew my mind! It's a few guys from Fall Out Boy, some from Anthrax, and two guys from Every Time I Die (Keith Buckley on Vox.) You guys might dig it.
