just got off the phone with my ordering manager..----he took an attitude with me at first cuz for the last couple weeks ive call once each week----he wouldnt let me get a word in edgewise -he said theres no need for me to call once a week.-finally i yelled whoaaaaaaaaaa--im paying 40.000 for a car an i want answers.

i told him a week and a half ago you guys called me and said due to the constraints on v-6s i was bumped to munber 1 i was the first 2SS/RS--so they moved me from 2-#1 and said i was put in for a march build.

now after 100s of presold orders were being pulled for march whyyy????? am i still sitting at 1100 and cant get any info from you guys as to why-----he said gm has the next step he cant telll me what the delay is--he said he calls chevy and they dont have any answers. gm has its own reasons why it hasnt been pulled--i tried to ask what could they because there are no constraints on my 2SS/RS----he said gm doesnt have to say or even put it on the constraint list. i tried to interject that i wasnt sure theyd do that but he just kept talking with a decerned attitude.

then we both calmed down and he said he will call me as soon as anything moves on my order--not to worry-he will contact me immediately
the only 2 times my dealer has called me in 6 months is when i called the GM number to try to get help and then the GM people call my dealer then id get an imediate phone call from them------thats only twice--they have never ever called me of their own accord --im just really getting fed up

but what can i do?? i dont want to rile my dealer anymore sooo iu sit and wait no questions being answered

Relax and calm down. GM only pulls orders once a week (Friday if I'm not mistaken) and they only pull the orders that they can build within a certain amount of days. There are still 2 more weeks for March builds to be be pulled. If you're order is still 1100 next Friday night then I would rant at the dealer. Right now all this means is that your car won't be built until the last day or two of the March consensus.

The only thing they could do to put your mind at ease is show you your order in dealerworld so you can see where it's at if you don't believe that they've submitted it with their allocation.

As much as I'd like to walk into my dealer every week, there really isn't much point. My dealer hasn't even got an allocation yet. Even if they had, they can't make my order go any farther down the line and they aren't going to know anything until GM updates it in their app. The only reason I've gone in there is to BS with them when big developments have happened. The last 2times I was in there was after the production delay was announced and then after the Feb. consensus to see if they got an allocation. I plan on going in there tomorrow to see if they get an allocation too.

I want to see my order get placed and they have already said they'd be more than happy to show me. If they don't get an allocation yet again then I'll be going there next month.

Going in each week is a bit excessive IMHO and I can understand how it might be a bit tiresome to them. We all have to have our patience tested in life. I don't have any kids yet so this car thing is my first big test, lol.

Have the dealer show you his "Pass One" page. That will tell you exactly whats going on.

But you will have full control over the discipline (hopefully not too extreme) of your children. What control do you, or any of us, have over our dealer? NONE. What are we going to threaten to do? Pull our order? They don't care. They'll sell it anyways.

The dealer probably has not "earned" any Camaro allocation this month. He can't change that. When he gets his allocation and your order is priority 1, then your order will get preferenced.

Hounding him is not getting him any allocation and everyone will get angry for no reason.
