1) buy like 6 cans of plasti dip

2) clean wheels really really well

3) spray plasti dip on wheels

There's plenty of topics on this... Try the search function. You could also do a general search on google for plastidip rims, because it seems to be a popular alternative with Many vehicle owners.

I used about 4 cans. 2-3 coats inside the rims, 3-4 outside. Clean with soap and water followed up with Rubbing Alcohol.

I used index cards to keep overspray off the tires, worked great. Wait 30 mins or so between coats.

I personally used 4 cans. I just said 6 because I know that some people have used 6, and their is nothing wrong with laying it on heavy.

Dipyourcar.com has some good videos. They also sell the true metallics for wheels in a kit....4 cans and 1 clear. I know the latest craze is black, but I am 2 wheels into the true metallic aluminum (silver), and it looks great. Just clean em up real good (I used dish soap n water), let em dry....tape, spay and enjoy. 4-5 coats (1 thin, the rest heavier). You really only need about 10 minutes or so between coats.

Taking the tire off is the best way to do it and make it look good. Just did mine this weekend.

Ya you are going to have to take the wheel off if you want to get inside. Clean them well and use rubbing alcohol to make sure all the grease is off. Start out with light coats and build from there keeping the can about 8-10 inches away. It's going to take several hours to get it done right so just be patient and they will turn out fine. If it's warm outside I usually wait about 15-20 mins between coats and I think I did 4 coats on mine when I did the stock wheels. Good luck...
