Has anyone seen quarter flares on the Camaro?

I am thinking of adding the quarter flares to my Camaro. Has anyone seen them on in any pictures? I searched, but only came up with four items. None of them were what I was looking for.

I don't seem to remember ever seeing a pic of them. Not even the SEMA display had those.

I haven't seen them, but would really like to. Gotta see them on a car before I buy them.

The GM Discripton on this should read Mud Flaps...

This is not a flare. This is not Gen 2 f-body - aka Trans Am Flare in front of wheels...

Sorry ,just color keyed Splash Guards..

Yeah, I gotta agree, HOTRIDES, they're just too short. If they were more elongated they'd look more like ground effects. Still, I want to see them on a car just in case, because I know what stones can do to the paint.

I think I am adding them. I want to protect the paint on the car as much as possible. Also, if I can prevent it I do not want to use harsh chemicals to get rid of tar.

I like the fact they are matching color. What I can't picture is how they would be installed. Anyone have an idea? I am drawing a blank.

Yeah I'm with you on that edog...I would love a picture of what they would look like on the Camaro, no one knows yet.

It's funny, I was done adding things and this comes out of nowhere.

Funny how we have to see a $200 add on for the $35k car we really haven't see either.

It looks like they will install just like the splash guards for the Silverado. There are little pop in things that hold the inner fender to the fender. Pop them out, put on the splash guard and pop them back in. Probably will have to remove to tire to make it easier, other wise it is a piece of cake. tools are available to remove them or a trim tool does pretty good, but if you use a screwdriver and pliers to remove them you should replace the fastener with new ones, and some will argue to replace them either way.

So has anyone decided to buy them??

Gotham...Thanks much.

I think I like them. I really want to protect the paint from rocks and road tar.

No prob edog, I was as curious as you were, I'm gonna get them after thinking about it for a while. I've seen them at work on some cars and they don't look bad at all.

Get this my buddy was telling how he is going to sell his car but has to get it fixed. I was like, fixed? What happened?? He replies.. oh not fixed but a small paint job, I drove on some gravel that I noticed at the last minute and it kicked up and hit my side panels leaving some nasty paint scratches. I was like... yeah, I'm getting the quarter flares!

Are those safe on the wax? I've had a couple bug and tar sponges and everyone I've own also removed the wax.
