May 27/11 SNOW
Welcome to spring in the Rockies lmao
Woke up to 2-3" of snow on the roads 4-6" on the what used tobe grass. I'm sure its still grass under there somewhere lol. I got called into work for snow removale @ 4:30am

Isn't this a wonderful country? I went through Exshaw on my way to Canmore on Sunday and other than rain, it was quite nice.
One July, I looked out the shop door of the Esso I was working in and there was a blizzard! Couldn't see across Macleod Trail in Calgary! 20 minutes later, you couldn't even tell there had been snow! The part that would really suck for you is getting called to work at 4:30! OUCH! |

It is nice right on the estern edge of the rockies We have a saying in the Bow Valley if the weather doesn't suit you wait for 5min lol ya the 4:30 sucks but the overtime is GREAT lol

I hear you there. When I was working in a HD shop, if I got called in on a Sunday or Stat and the parts were not in stock to build a fuel pump, I got double time and a half for minimum 3 hours just for going in and saying Hi! Gotta love that!
