header and exhaust combo

I am looking to by my LT headers and exhaust this weekend. I have viewed a bunch of videos and posts and have it narrowed down to a few options. I like the borla atak or the corsa exhaust and i like the kooks, ARH, or the borla LT headers. Loud is fine as long as it sounds mean not like a loud wind up ricer. Any input?

I just upgraded my exhaust and went with the Borla ATAK cat back. It has a very nice deep rumble, making it sound like a true muscle car. I'm looking to do LTs next. I was informed that if I go with Kooks or ARH, it may just be over the top as far as loudness is concerned. But.....I like it loud!

Look into getting the kooks complete system 6511. It has a nice tone at idle but screams when you jump on it and it had no drone. Plus you can get the whole system for around $2200.

The options are endless. Do a search on here for an all SW system. Someone just posted videos of with a full SW system with the chambered exhaust. It sounds tuff and its loud all the time. Real screamer. We can cut a killer deal on SW or ARH for you. Are you looking to run cats of off road pipes?

For the dollar per hp gain I went with the PaceSetter LT's no cats and the MBRP 3 inch exhaust and I love it!! Sounds loud but not to loud, has a little bit of rasp but not much! I have included vid clips so you can see for yourself, I also have a cam now so that did change the sound a bit, but even with the factory manifolds and cats on it sounded nice! For the money though I would go with the new TSP headers bc they are 1 7/8, while the PaceSetters are 1 3/4!! All my mods are in my sig!! Hope this helps!!

I haven't seen a video with the retro chambered and LT headers. I did do the search. There was one video with high flow cats and the retro chambered exhaust that was recently posted. If there is a full system video I'd love to hear it. Stainless Works did tell me there is a full SW system out there and that they were going to post a video, but again I haven't seen it. To the OP I have the retro chambered exhaust and it sounds great, it will scream with LTs. That's why I want them.

Yup, I couldn't be happier with my Kooks system.

Imo, both the Borla Atak and Corsa become way too loud and too raspy with long tubes.

Again imo, if you are getting long tubes then go with Borla S. It's still loud but no where near as loud as the Atak is with long tubes and it gives it the typical muscle car sound vs the raspyness the Atack gives it.
