Can somebody exlain to me how i can have the #1 allocation at my dealership and my dealer is telling me that my car won't show up until September. Got a letter yesteday from my dealer asking me what final changes i wanted to make on my order. How is this possible to not see it until Sept? I odered 10/18/08. Can anyone enlighten me please.

All in All, your dealer is an Idiot...

GM is pulling orders from different locations, yours may not have been pulled for this months production due to your dealer being small enough? Or your dealer totally ignored your Priority.

So i shouldn't even order mine then? I mean if there will be cars on the lot in May-June i could just pick one out then......?

I actually ordered my from Harchelroad Motors in Imperial, NE biggest corvett dealer in Nebraska(I know i ordered a Camaro but i thought the biggest Corvett dealer might have a little pull on getting some priority). Have they just not pulled any orders from the Nebraska region?

mostly your dealers probably an idiot but also hard to say because he don't know your options on your Camaro yours might not be pulled because its CGM or you got the hurst short throw which are both on constraint until......we don't even know

the cars that will be on the lots at that time will be v-6s that you wont get to buy.

Yeah there won't be any SS's out there at you will be able to buy unless you want to pay way over MSRP. They are going to the people who ordered them first.

Yeah both your options could be holding you up. If you are waiting it might be till September, but as far as #1 at the deal it depends on when they get their cars. I would think that if your car isn't held up by other things (CGM etc.) then you should be able to have it buy summer, but I saw that you won't be able to have a factory Hurst till Q3 so you might want to get the deal installed option.
