What Pct. Tint should I use? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The shop I use wants to do 15%, but I am worried that will be way too dark. Can those of you with dark tint please post some pics with the pct, so that I might be able to compare? It would be much appreciated.

I don't have tint but my buddy who's really into window tiny does it on all his cars. 15 is pretty dark and might get you pulled over, depending on your state laws. If you're worried about that 25-35 should be just fine.

15% is what you should go with, I have 20% on sides and 5% on back window, 35% is not dark and easy to see through.

I thought Rhode Island was law was 70%.

I just did 35% front and 20% rear. Massachusetts law is 35%. You can definitely see through the 35%. The 20% is pretty dark.

Thanks TDC! that helps a ton. Definitely will go with 20 at the most, but might go with the 15. Guess I will see on Wed. morning. See what vibe hits me when I get to the shop.

I HATE California lol. Im thinkin 35% in front and 15% in rears. Ill still prob get pulled over

I have been running 15% tint on all my cars for the last 20+ years....never been pulled over for tint. Last pic of GN has 20%. My daily driver has 15% tint and i commute 150 miles round trip every day to work and never had any issues with LEO's.

i only have around 35, but i find with the small windows and dark interior etc, it looks much darker....and yeah i have been pulled over and ticketed already...
