No, she is not jealous of Ginger (well she is, but that's a different thread).

Whenever we are out in Ginger we, like many other Camaro owners, get a lot of looks, pictures taken and compliments. She thinks its pretty cool, but when we are passing through a rough part of town she gets nervous when a car full of guys staring at my car, like they are going to jump out and car jack us or something. She is a worrier so I tell her that's just what she is doing, over worrying. I tell her she has been watching too many movies.

Also, she is still shocked every time I leave my top down when we go to the store or out to eat.

Anyone else, or your SO, freak out from the attention your car gets?

Yeah, I had some sketchy looking guys pull up next to me near the Half Price Books on NW Hwy. I was a little worried that we were about to get car jacked but they were just complimenting the car. lol

I named my last car Honey (after the first Bond girl in Dr. No named "Honey Rider") and it didn't go over well.
I said "But it's a f***ing car!"
She said "Exactly! A f***ing car! You named an inanimate object. You named an inanimate object after a girl! And a slut James Bond girl at that!!"

So in an attempt to make peace, I tried changing the name to Judi (after Judi Dench ). But the damage was done, and the point was apparently missed.

So this car... is simply, and will forever be... the Camaro.

My wife is the same way....

I don't trust the a**holes in this world...or the weather... enough to leave my top down unless I know I can see it well from inside (guess I'm just as paranoid as the wife...).

Also, my wife seems to think my Camaro is a dude (and I know she is a sexy lady)...we have been going back and forth on names since we got HER 2 weeks ago....still undecided :(

I love the attention also... still draw quite a bit.... been going thru withdrawals as its been at JL for 3 weeks, but I pick it up tomorrow and, even if people DONT look cuz of the site, they'll have to look at the sound!

As for bad areas; my baby's always protected by a Glock. 40....

Haha its not uncommon for me to get tons of compliments whereever i am, but when im downtown or in a area i do not know or looks really erie, im am for sure more carful, ive had people walk up and talk to me about the car that i was like ok ya give me about 5 - 10 feet please lol, but i havnt had anyone approuch me that i was like ya im leaving i dont trust you.. Yet anyway heh
