Yes Sir. That's exactly what it means. For my car, I've noticed the best MPG speed hovers somewhere around the 72, 73 MPH range.. the gears are turning, your not shifting, the engine has no load.. some cars have issues doing 73, this thing is coasting. I love this car!!

That means you used:

0.57 gallons of gasoline
or
2.28 quarts of gasoline
or
4.57 pints of gasoline
or
9.13 cups of gasoline
or
73.07 ounces of gasoline
or
146.13 tablespoons of gasoline
or
438.4 teaspoons of gasoline

One question I have, was that CITY Driving? Because just a few weeks ago, I took the family on a ROAD TRIP to Fort Wayne, IN from Niagara Falls, I an averaged 25 MPG Round Trip in my SS, with the trunk loaded.

Okay That would be:

2.16 liters
or
21.61 deciliters
or
216.08 centiliters
or
2,160.84 milliliters
or
2,160,839.23 microliters
or
2,160,839,226.7 nano liters

After that I have no more decimals to convert to pico-, femto-, atto-, zepto-, or yoctoliters accurately And it would be pointless to convert to deca-, hecto-, kilo-, mega-, giga-, tera-, peta-, exa-, zetta-, or yottaliters

Are you sure. thats still at 2K-2200 rpms. I would think 55-60mph would be the best efficency for mpg. RPMS are more at 1800-2000 at that speed in 6th gear. A v6 can easily record 30 mpg avgs at that speed and gear ona flat road.

Can we get that in "average sips of tea per minute during polite conversation"?

THe first summer I had my Camaro, my best MPG would be around 55-60MPH, but on this trip, it's 70MPH in OHIO (on the turnpike) and I was probably doing 78-79MPH, still getting 25MPG at those speeds. I was shocked when I clicked over and saw it at 25MPG when we were almost where we were going (Yes, I reset it when I filled up in Niagara Falls, before we left).

The conversion factor on this is not nearly as scientific because it's entirely dependent on the part of the state/country/world in which a person resides. Where it may take me 20 "sips" in a span of about 1 hour to polish off a 44oz. sweet tea, it could take a northerner more than 6 hours, 150 "sips" and a handful of bathroom breaks to get through that same quantity

I get 28 -29 mpg if I stay right at 65 and feather any throttle changes. At 77 I get 24 - 25. But this mpg means getting on the hiway before resetting.

I don't hit 2000 rpm till 85 mph...?

at 73 i'm closer to 1900 to 1950 rpm...
