Has anybody in CO got the call yet from their dealer?

I need to go drool on somebody's car if they get theirs before me!!

FYI if you have not heard. Last Friday my wife got a call from the dealership that I ordered my car from and she was told that my car had gotten pulled for production this week. They were just calling to see if I still wanted the car. Not sure what to believe I call today, my car had been pulled for production but he does not know when it will be built. Two cars from this dealership were pulled and mine was one of them. He also said that all dealerships should be getting a camaro soon, but they could not show it to the public yet. GM told them to either lock it up so noone can see it or put it in their showroom with a car cover on top. GM wants to do a national unveiling of the camaro May 6th. So no camaros will be sold before May 6th. He said that GM told them if they wanted to show the car, they could pull up the car cover and show a section of the car but not the whole thing. I don't know how much of this is the truth, but that is all I have to go on.

just order mine today, dealers said 6-8 weeks. Who knows!

Does anyone in the Denver area have a dealer recommendation (preferably @ or below MSRP)?

I ordered from Emich in Lakewood @ MSRP. I had also talked to Stevinson in Golden and they also told me they were selling @ MSRP.

If you go to Emich - ask for Karl Ritz and tell him I sent you!

Bozarth at Park Meadows. 10 allocation 5 ordered and 3 have been concensed. MSRP. Talk to Manny and tell him the guy with the IBM 2SS off of Camaro5 suggested you talk to him. He is pretty up to speed on the process and are now tracking orders very well. They will give you the straight news now good bad or indiferrent. If you order #6 you would probably see your car in June. Whatever you do make em show you the concensus and pass reports. A lot of places are selling beyond allocation and then you will be waiting til Qtr4 for your car.

Hajek In Longmont. Though he said they were only alloted 2 and I ordered the second one. Boulder dealer said he couldn't order any but had some coming in as showroom models in May!

Stevinson in Lakewood is where I'm getting mine. MSRP plus deposit that goes to the cost of the sale. Told me Saturday that he's expecting to have two more cars on consensus. He's sold 5 of 9 so far. Next consensus comes out Thursday I think.

Ryan Watson is the sales manager I'm working with. Tell him Pepper sent you if you call.

Regarding the original thread question, I'm still not sure what the phrase "getting pulled" means but mine has been accepted for production. Not sequenced or scheduled for production yet but I'm hoping to go from 3000 to at least 3400 sometime this week!!!

Great to have such good company while we all wait!!

Yeah, when I wrote that, I was looking for any movement. 2500 = Preferenced (Order pulled to the production system). I went to 3000 last week, but no updates yet this week. The car before me at my dealer hasn't showed up on the VIN tracking list yet, so no expectations until that one gets built.
