Cool Best CAI

I have done so much research on 2011 Camaro ss intakes that it has given me a headache. Through all of the research, I narrowed it down to the Hennessey, BBK, Cold Air Inductions, or the aFe. I am looking to gain HP and get better MPG. Please help me. Thx

Im a vararam fan. Get a system that breaths from outside the engine bay and dissipates the temperature in the housing fastest so not to affect the IAT sensor as much.
I find that tuning a Corvette and Camaro in Tampa, the engine bay heat builds so damn fast in the summer. The Camaros dissipates the temperature faster than the Corvette.

Today is 93* and summer hasnt started yet.

In the end, it'll be your decision, but I decided to go with CAI, inc.

I went with the CAI as well. I will be installing an AMD racing scoop to get fresh air in the box which adds a little more power when ever they get off of back order!!

The no tune vararam seemed like a sketchy type of deal where the car need 100miles to learn how to adjust to the new intake. What if your battery goes dead or something.

Here is a link to an article on our blog that discusses the pros and cons of several of the various intake designs available for the Camaro. Out of the four you mentioned it isn't even a contest. The CAI Inc system produces more power by a long shot. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM.

Injen, the "further away from the engine the colder the air will be" logic is what sold me.

I've tried the following in this order.
CAI
Vararam
Stock
Halltech
Halltech with ADM scoop
Vararam.

From strictly a daily drivers take, at this point in time I prefer the one with the shortest path and least bends to ambient air. VR.

Your research came up with Hennessey, BBK, and AFE as three of the top 4 CAI's? Where did you do your research? It sure as hell wasn't here.
