SS M6 2nd/3rd Gear Grind Issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has anyone in the Bay Area deal with the issue of grinding when shifting into 2nd/3rd gear or just hard to shift at high RPM? Before it was more of having to muscle it a little into gear at around 6000RPM but now I get the gear grind more and more. I’ve changed transmission oil to Amsoil and that helped smooth the shifts. I also switched the shifter to an LSR, which helped a lot, making the shifts feel more positive.

They’re a few threads that cover the issue. Since there’s no TSB on the issue, taking it to the dealer is sort of hit or miss with others that have had this issue. I’d like to take my car to a dealer that has experience with this issue. So, if anyone has dealt with this issue with a dealer, preferably around the Peninsula/South Bay, with good success, I’d like to know.
