No. Just because the exhaust is older than the car doesn't mean that it won't work. You'll be fine using the GMPP exhaust, or you could get another aftermarket exhaust up to you, but they will all work with your car.

Yea no. No car part "expires" really. So you should be all set to get that exhaust.

I think he was more worried about the mufflers going bad or the metal metal deteriorating. imo, these should last years. Since I may be the seller, I'll let others comment further, since it would mean more coming from those not selling.

Ah OK. Yea you shouldn't have a problem with the metal going bad. IF it does ever go bad, it'll be 20 or so years down the road. The GMPP exhaust is stainless steel if I remember correctly. I want to say 307 but could be wrong.

No problem and I don't blame you for looking for others input. It's a smart move not to solely take the word of a seller, unless you've know them. I'm certainly not offended.

I packaged and boxed them up for shipping today. I even took pictures so the potential buyer could see how well they were readied for shipment.

Unless you are getting it for dirt cheap, I would stay away. Also, the GMPP touring is barely louder than stock.

Save your money and get a better after market set up. Flow master will give you a full cat back system for very cheap.

It is dirt cheap. And yes in loudness it goes stock>>Borla Touring>>Borla S>Borla ATAK. As long as the resonators stay on there will be no hiway drone. But you know this since you've run the GMPP Street.

I have the GMPP exhaust system on my car. I like it alot. I didnt really want anything loud, but this system did the trick. It is more refined than the stock exhaust and it makes the car sound a little more "tuned". It doesnt have that exhaust rumble that most are looking for though. I just didnt want that. However, when the time comes I am going to add long tubes to the car and I am sure the exhaust will wake up and sound killer then.

The one thing I like most about the GMPP exhaust, the tips sit perfect in the factory back bumper and dont stick out liek some do.

If you get it for a good price though, go for it. When you are out of warranty you can add some long tubes!

Good to hear from someone with actual experience with just the axleback.
