A Question: can I paint carbon fiber parts ?

Hi guy,

I want to buy carbon fiber parts, it has a carbon fiber finish. can i paint the parts to match the color of my car ?
some people told me that when you buy something has carbon fiber finish ( real carbon fiber ), you have to keep it as it is. the paint wont look good with it, the color wont match something like that .. I was thinking of buying carbon fiber hood and keep the middle in the carbon hood .. it will look like real carbon fiber strips.
Is it going to work like that ?
also i dont mind buying the whole body kit in carbon fiber and paint it to match the color of the car .. because i like the seibon body kit and it comes in carbon fiber finish. and they say its real carbon fiber.

sorry if I'm asking a lot about the body kit and the parts. I just want to do something nice and do the right thing.


if someone have some pictures of the seibon or the VIS body kit on the car. that will be grate.
