automatic shifter

I really like my new 1ss automatic. the only complaint i have is the shifter. it looks kinda cheap. i wish they would of put a retro shifter in the vehicle similar to the one in the second pic. Or they could of offered the hurst shifter like they do with the manual trans. anything would of looked better than the existing shifter.

that's actually kind of cool. i personally want something else, but i like that it's available. now they just need to have the P, R, N, D, etc...indicator.

Isn't that hurst auto shifter a few hundred bucks? Not seeing it being worth that much.

Yeah it was 400 and something, damn high for a shifter but *shrug* it's all to what it's worth to you. It's a great piece of equipment and looks awesome but at the end of the day it's purely aesthetic. Deffinently a personal call for something like that, I'm retroing out my car (first gen emblems, Hugger stripes soon to come, Berger panel, heritage grill and GM blade spoiler) and had to have it but for many, way too high.

I have the pistol grip shifter, I really like it. I love the idea of a 'power glide' looking shifter posted above, but it's too plain. It needs the P R N D down the middle like the Gen1's.
