Hey everybody, New guy here and after spending a few weeks lurking, I finally find an absolute need to share something. I was on my way to North Battleford, Saskatchewan from my home town of Lloydminster, Alberta and after heading East on Highway 16 for about 45 minutes...something was approaching me in the oncoming lane. It looked a little familiar yet surprising. There was a silver ice metallic camaro with some striping along the front fenders heading West. My friend and I were blown away that we saw it and wish that we had a way to turn around and follow it but we were in the opposing lane of traffic. It was pretty sweet to see one of these on the road and I am still baffled why it would be out here in this area unless there was some sort of cold weather test drive taking place. Anybody have any possible explanations?

first, welcome!

it's probably a Captured Test Fleet car. they have them all over the place (except tennessee!

). it's probably driving around up there to make sure it does good on the roads & in the cold.

probably still a CTF car doing some last minute testing.
and did you say stripe on front fender?
did it look like this?

Yeah it looked like that. We were going pretty fast and I thought that it was just on the fender. (to me, that looked weird) But the picture you posted makes more sense. I wish I had seen it while we were getting gas because I would love to have some pics of it.

I saw several on the road today, ABM LS, Red SS with GFX, Yellow SS/RS, Silver LT/RS, IOM 2SS/RS, Red 2SS, IOM 2SS, Silver 2LT/RS, Black #001, IOM 2SS with Grey INt and CGM stripes.
Oshawa is full of Camaros. Amazing sight
