Well, after starting my first painting attempt, I am now (finally) starting a build thread. Should eventually have a lot of pics, but I am never done modding! I will try to merge some pics in here, but it's going to take a few days. Editing as I go... should look better tonight...

MODS List:
1. Bowties... Gary's customs Rear removed, soon to have front removed... (see future mods)

In the begining... I had seen the SIM 2006 concept... my first thoughts were... MAKE THAT CAR!!! I couldn't help it. I had a black 90 RS that I loved, but life lead me to get rid of it. I had a 2002 Grand Prix at this time, the car before my new Camaro. Last year I was sent to Iraq as an IA. (Individual Augmentee). The whole time I was there, I saw pictures online of Camaros online, some probably on this site. And I kept , so I told myself, I will have a Camaro when I return form Iraq. Pics below:

When I returned back to the wonderful U.S.A. I moved in with some good friends from before I left. I was a temporary roommate because I knew I would be transferring from San Diego before I long.
One day, I was driving around to dealerships just to look at the amazing car they have on their lots... Camaros of course. I went to two dealerships which had $3,000 markups right on the window sticker, not even trying to hide it. (Wish I would have taken pics, but I was disgusted in them so I walked away without even talking to anyone.)
I happened to use my phone to find one more dealership, so I drove to Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet in Kearny Mesa. And happened across probably one of the best dealerships I could find. No markups, nice people... even made sure to ask me if I had my code for the GM military discount. Then on top of that, they asked if I used a credit union, which (at least at the time, dunno about now) was another discount on top of that. Well, I definitely wanted a manual transmission, and a 2LT, because I had to drive cross country. (I knew I was coming to VA at this point)
The day after I bought Road Rage: the only manual 2LT on their lot.. they had like 40 Camaros though! I deceided at that point that I wanted to make my car a Decepticon and needed a name. As soon as that thought cross my mind, I got cut off... Road Rage was born. (I didn't get road rage, I just laughed because I thought of the name.)

Well, on Jan 1st this year I started my trip cross country... to VA. My first weekend in VA, I got hit by a hit and run...I wasn't even in the car and I think I noticed it about a day or two later... I don't use the passenger side of my car and my girlfriend lives in Ohio so she didn't notice it either. I do look all the time now though! The rear quarter and door shell were replaced, but the repair cost me my LED sidemarkers... I'll explain that later. Pics:

Now I am in Virginia and settled, I have quite a few pics on here, and a few mods that are mostly cosmetic, I will gather pics and post them soon. With a mods list, nothing done for HP yet, but I will post why I say "mostly" cosmetic as one mod surprised me with some functionality!

Looking good so far. So what happened with your side markers?

Sidemarkers... hmmmm, lets see. You see the damage pics? They had to remove the front to take the rear quarter off because it wraps around, and when they did they broke a clip on the sidemarkers. I wasn't informed of this and it was taped in. So when I put the SS fascia on, I didn't know this and seperated the front and back of the passenger front marker. Therefore I had to put the stock ones back on. Luckily I still have them! (Post pics soon)

:( Have you tried contacting AAC about this? All their parts have a lifetime warranty, and I am sure Justin would be willing to help you out under the circumstances.

first I'm going to get ahold of the insurance company to see about making the repair shop pay for them... they should since they broke it without mentioning it to me at all... probably thinking I would never find out.
