3823 according to my SC registration. This info was taken from the MSO. I did remove those stock trash can mufflers and installed Borla's (S) so should be around 3800 LBS.

My car, in race trim weighs 4170#. I just weighed it on June 30th. That was with Bogarts, skinnies and slicks, full tank of fuel, and the roll bar.

if we could shed like 3-400lbs, that would be alot more acceptable i think...i wonder if this would even be possible...maybe cf trunk, roof, and hood. then lighter wheels and rotors couple with some lightweight suspension parts, and then maybe a rear seat delete if theres anything to be had there..hhmm

They made a lot of noise leaving Cars and Coffee. Wasn't impressed by how 'fast' they were. These were 392 cars, not the 5.7.

I don't think the Camaro is that bad. The Nissan gtr weights 3900pds. The new ZL1 is around that as well.

If I was worried about weight I would get a vette.

I do think the Camaro with its weight is a better bet if you were to get in an accident though because of the weight.
