Re-setting Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Just had new tires, and rims with new sensors put on the car. The shop did the re-programming for each sensor- I watched them. All sensors react correctly.

What I'm not sure of, is why the "Press Set/Clr to Relearn" message is still being displayed? I didn't think it was there before.

I didn't want to press set/clr and have the system want to re-program all the sensors again. Or does that have to be done to complete the process? The owners manual didn't help with this.

In order to back up what sstphoenix is saying I would like to direct this to my technical team and see if we can get you an answer to this question. Hopefully I'll have something back for you soon.

Or you can just turn the DIC to a different page/view. Its just displaying the last page viewed which is the tire pressure page cause they used it to relearn the sensors.

I've gotten a reply back and it is as jrpimp00 says. You should be able to scroll to another screen come back to your TPMS screen and the message should be gone for you. I hope that helps you.

Must have been. I was wondering what was going on since the system was re-programmed on a Saturday and the message was still there days later.
