Thumbs up installed cold air induction

today my friend and i installed my CAI, i have wanted one for a long time now. finally thought it was about time to switch. my friend said this was one of the best intakes he has ever installed. very good fit, and looks great. install time was 30 mins.

i love to support my states products also. also a thanks to Juiced1 ( Juiced motorsports ) gave me free shipping and also had CAI ship my intake right from there factory to save shipping time.

after reading threads about this intake and finally getting one, i feel this product is one of the best intakes out for 5th gen! keep up the good work cold air inductions.

Nice. Probably the easiest installing CAI's I've ever dealt with. Took like 15-20 minutes when I put mine in. Question though...You've been running a cam and bolt-ons without upgrading your intake system? Seems a little backwards, yeah?

Ahhh...cool. I only have experience with this intake...how's it compare to the K+N? I think I read somewhere that that intake made virtually no improvement over stock? Or am I recalling bogus facts? Lol.

well the K&N did show gains on the dyno, but thats with a open hood and cold air blowing into it the engine bay for dyno runs. the one thing people need to think about when getting a intake is how it performs on the street with different weather conditions. the cold air induction just by looking at it i can tell it keeps heat away better than most intakes out there, and that a VERY important thing when putting a intake on a car, cold air = gains.

but i do not regret getting a k&N, at the time there wasn't many on the market, i do think it does show gains over stock, but i feel cold air inductions is just a better product all around and thats also why it cost more. i am planning on keeping this car for years to come, so why not get the best thing. IMO

I don't know...I don't know how long it's been since you guys installed yours, or if you gents installed your intakes originally with other mods, but coming from a guy whose only mod is currently a Cold Air Ind. intake, I know I could feel a slight, but noticeably performance difference, as well as a great, in-cabin change in engine note.

I just ordered SW longtubes, and am going to pull the trigger on a tune with them, and I'm absolutely stoked to hear and feel the difference.
