Mod#2 Old School Heritage Grill - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I ordered painted ibm heritage grill from gmpartsdirect last friday. It arrived Thursday in very good shape. Very lucky fedex treated it nicely. Spent the morning putting it on the car. The RS emplem is the stock one. I cut the side tabs of the emblem bracket lengthwise, made the slots much wider with a razor blade where the grill fins fit through. I then made an aluminum bracket for the back side of the grill to attach the emblem to, bent to match grill angle. Zip tied bracket to grill, and aluminum bracket to the emblem tabs. Seems fairly solid. I like this look much better than the large bowtie.

Nice. You should start a build thread for your ride so you can show off each MOD you do even down the road.

Much better looking in real life, on the whole car. In pics yes it does look that way.
