I was approached by three cops in Wal-Mart's lot tonight - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

One said "whooo nice car! This is the only time Id park in a walmart lot too!"

The other asked, "Is that a V8?" to which I said like an idiot, "No its a V6. I need a V8 like I need a donut," but the fact I said donut to a police officer. Ay yai yai. Shoulda said pizza. Heh.

The third pulled out his keys and said, "I don't normally do this, but I'll trade you straight up."

I wished Id have asked if I could drive with cop lights on if we traded.

A cool way to end my night.

i would have traded then report it stolen then go arrest the cop with his own police car hahahahahahahaha!

Dude that's awesome I have the same thing happen to mine, except they pull me over and then they just say oooh nice car can I get a closer look lol. i haven't had the let's trade yet but I know how it is, one it's nice two it's scary when you get pulled over, or have three cops walking up to you, it's pretty much oh crap what did I do kind of thing.

I was wondering about taking my new ZL1 by the local cop station and just ask any of them if they wanted to sit in it. Maybe rev it up a little. Just to see if later on they would understand how hard it is to keep it all legal and within speed limit! Befreind the boys in blue! HA........ probably not likely to get many brownie points.

(BTW, I am referring to my future ZL1)

The camaro's really stand out with that contrast of your hood with the
black and the two red strips. If I was going to get a black camaro, I would
probably do the same things looks bad ass.
