Do these three count?
8.997 -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=735
9.84 -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=610 9.91 -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=433 Granted, they aren't the 6.2 or 3.6 Liter engines that came in the car, but they are Camaros.

9 sec passes are not easy... it takes allot of money and know how! My fastest cars have been 11.40-11.60 range wile still streetable and it took allot of hard work and cash! Now a days it is easier to build a fast car though... cars like the camaro and mustang now only take a few bolt-ons and tires to run quick. But 9s is not something everyone is going to do even if your a life long drag racer, thats why you dont see allot.

Its something you not need worry about. I'll let you be my designated 9 second cheerleader so you can share in the experience. Maybe you should invest in some snow tires since that's about when you're car will be on the road!!!

hey man sorry to cut in on the post but. ive been working on 8s and 9 sec cars all my life. and well i good friends with the owner of evolution performance. there a pretty big in the mustang world they have the fastest shelby gt500 and all kindas of differnt shit. and well i was talking with him about doing a 5th gen camaro because well where killing ford in sales. and well he said its not realy that easy to do on the stock motor vs the shelby gt 500s. and from my years spent with my grandfather and cuz its 20k just to be able to drive the car down the track and not get kicked off. now trust me theres awals ways to make a 9 sec car with ac and still be a street car. but whats realy a street car when u need 1500 hp. u would be driving from gas station to gas station. hah not alone the probaly 100k u would need to build it i dont wanna crush ur dreams but the fastest street car i ever had realy wasnt a street car it was a 10 sec 3rd gen. that we basicly threw a plate on a fake inspection stickers. so to sum it all up u can do anything u want as long as ur check book allows.
