JRE LS3 Rough Idle Hot Street Blower Cam Package

I am looking for feedback on the JRE LS3 Rough Idle Hot Street Blower Cam Package.

What is the driveability on a stick car?
Anybody have dyno graphs of this cam?
What kind of HP gains should I expect?
How nasty is the lope at idle
Anybody have a video clip?
Does the package include all parts needed for installation?
Would you replace the oil pump and timing chain as well?

Finally - Are there any other blower cam packages worth looking at?

Ask either 632 or Bigdog on here. They both had that cam on M6 cars.

it was a long time ago when my car had this set-up. however, here are the answers you seek:

What is the driveability on a stick car? GREAT STREET DRIVABILITY. MY WIFE COULD EVEN DRIVE IT. BUTT DYNO SHOWED BIG POWER INCREASE.

Anybody have dyno graphs of this cam?
What kind of HP gains should I expect? TED AT JANNETTY WOULD HAVE MY DYNO GRAPHS ON FILE. CALL HIM AT 203-753-RACE (7223)

How nasty is the lope at idle. Anybody have a video clip? HEAR THE LOPE FOR YOUR SELF IN THE VIDEO BELOW.

Does the package include all parts needed for installation? YES.

Would you replace the oil pump and timing chain as well? THATS A QUESTION FOR TED AT JANNETTY.

AHH, the good old days. i really REALLY liked this set-up.

Question from the cam-newbie...

If you do not have a blower or don't plan on ever going away from N/A... wouldn't we need to stay away from a blower cam? Or is it one of those additions that is a good choice "just in case"?

If you are sure that you will never go FI then you are better with a non blower cam. But if you are on the fence, you can save yourself some cash and get the blower cam "just in case".

If you are doing a cam swap...do yourself a favor and replace the oil pump, timing chain, and tensioner at the same time...save yourself some effort/cost/issues down the road.
