going to school in a high crime town. where should I park my camaro in the garage?
I can't decide if I would be better off parking right up in front on the first floor next to the security gates where everyone will see it and it will be next to the other cars or I should go all the way up to the 4th floor, where almost no one parks, and leave my baby all alone where anyone could just "have their way with her".
Also, similarly, I suppose the answer to this will also answer my question about where I should park when I go to the mall. What do? Thanks! |

Next to the security gates if you're really worried about it.

oh park it next to that guy in the rent-a-cop outfit standing by the gates chain smoking cigarettes that looks like a thug that's waiting to make a drug deal?

If it's that much of a worry, I'd sell the Camaro 'til I'd finished school, and scoot about in an old pick-up, or something. Otherwise just hope for the best, and if it does get keyed, take it to a body shop, where it will be fixed as good as new...no worries.
I don't see the point of driving a flash car, if you daren't drive, or leave the damned thing. |

The better route would be to pick up a old beater car and use that instead.
My Camaro never gets parked anywhere besides my garage. Unless I can see the car 100% of the time.

Park it in the garage at home and take public transportation.

If you are that worried about your car, then you should just leave it at home and either get a ride with some friends or take the public transport to save some money and have no worries...

Camaros are not suppose to go to malls (parking lots), it's in the manual, page 137-2, under 'How to Handle Careless Assinine Humans Near Your Camaro'.
If you are that concerned, as other's said, leave the car at home, why risk it?

really?? Get insurance! If it's stolen hope for a total loss, you can replace it. This is not a super exotic classic car. It's a currently mass-produced car. If you can afford 2 cars then get a beater if not stop acting like you have an irreplaceable car and drive it. I understand not wanting it scratched and parking in spots less likely to get it dinged, I do the same but this car is not meant as a garage queen. Drive your car and enjoy it.
