What would you do with 1k to spend on mods?

I'm kind of stuck... I have been itching to blow some money on Aubry, and have just over a thousand to play with.

Few things -

I eventually want to get a supercharger, LTs, and coilovers...

I was thinking of taking advantage of Apex deal for a CAI and axle back borla... but would that would be a disadvantage when I go to purchase LTs?

Any input is appreciated!

ADM Race CAI w/ scoop and a drop springs.

Axle IMO is not worth the money because it just give's you a different sound from your exhaust. you don't really gain performance out of it.

If you want sound and performance get a cat back.

Disadvantage from getting LT's is you'r gunna be voiding your warranty because it requires a tune. But if your not worried about that IMO the LT's are worth it.

I agree with GEEo....don't do a axel bzck exhaust....if you intend of getting a supercharger and LT's......the best thing to do would be to talk to the performance shop you use, find out the best combo for the application and buy the recommended CIA, LT's, Exhaust, and SC.....if all you can afford right now is the CAI and Exhaust....great, but the pieces you need now and then when you got it all, it will all work together.

Great advice... I should definetly do a consult and see... Not sure if I should go with Torq or Tampa Tuning...

Depends on what your goals are....where in FL are you located? I'm in Palmetto....you can stop by and see several different examples and go over options.

To be honest, I started with a V6... and just felt like it wasn't enough... upgraded to SS, but didn't know the ZL1 was slated to come out. I really don't feel like trading up again, and I'd like to see 550+ hp with an SC. I also want to upgrade the exhaust, suspension, brakes (heard good things about hawks), and do some exterior mods as well (gfx/hood/rims/etc)

Working on a couple thousand every 2 months or so, but I'd like to spend about 1k now on maybe an exhaust or something...
