Tuner help

I am going to purchase my borla atak catback exhaust and a cai intake today online and was wondering if i am going to need a tuner as well or will it be okay without, also if i need one, can anyone give me their opinions on the tuners...i appreciate any info you guys have!

You don't need to have the car tuned for those mods. Not that a tune wouldn't help. You'll probably see close to a 10rwhp from the tune alone. The downside is you take a chance on voiding your power train warranty with the tune.

Hand held or not, the ECM will clock a change to programming. If any issues w/ drivetrain arise the dealer may check the ECM and send info to GM, warranty work could be denied. Plenty of threads on the same.

No need to tune for cai and catback. Not that it wouldn't help, but it's not necessary. Once you get into headers, cams etc..then yeah. Install your cai and catback and enjoy a little more hp, tq, and nicer exhaust note.

Like they said above, no need for a tune with an exhaust upgrade and cai. Only if you add LT Headers, you will need a dyno tune.
