i'm getting a 1SS, so i wanted to get a few things straight about the interior. i've searched the threads but couldn't find any definitive answer because it seems like every answer lumps all models together.

1st - in the 1SS, the dash and door panels are going to be cloth and not the colored plastic that the 2SS is getting. but can be purchased and installed at the dealership (no ABL)... correct?

2nd - the USB port only comes with the C&C package, which is standard on the 2SS and is an option for the 1SS, but does it come without the C&C package in any way shape or form? is there a way to get a USB port put in?

3rd - what is an auxiliary jack?

4th - is there is 6-way manual adjustable driver seat and tilt telescopic steering wheel in the 1SS?

5th - does the black cloth seat have contrast stitching?

1. Sort of. here's the colors that will be available for purchase from GMPP...
92221433 Interior Trim Kit, Scorch yellow (not shown)
92221438 Interior Trim Kit, Inferno Orange (not shown)
92233738 Interior Trim Kit, Olympic white (not shown)
92233739 Interior Trim Kit, Switchblade Silver (not shown)

There's pictures of scorch yellow floating around here.

2. The C&C package is NOT optional on the 1SS, only the 1LT. Kinda lame but that's the way it is. I too thought about installing the USB port in non-usb port models. How easy that will be remains to be seen but I believe the hole/mounting area is in the glove box in all cars. The wiring could very well be there too.

3. Auxiliary jack is where you can plug a MP3 player or anything else really into the car to have it come through the speakers. It's a standard 1/8th inch stereo jack. Anything that has a headphones plug can plug into it.

4. "6-way power driver seat with power recliner" is in all but the 1LS. Telescoping wheel in all cars.

thank you for the information. now that you mention it, i do remember C&C being confirmed in the 1LT and not the 1SS. that is pretty lame. i'm glad i'm going to be able to play music i don't have on CD due to the auxiliary jack. power seats are awesome. and i'm loving the contrast stitching. once again, thanks for the information
