Question Heritage Grille Options. Help me decide please!

Hey all. So I just talked to my local Chevy dealer and he can get me an IBM (to match my paint) heritage grille with the bowtie. Should I go with the body-colored grille, or black-- or chrome? There is very little chrome on the car, see picture. Cast your vote and help me decide before my car show next weekend!

Id definitely go the IBM route but would probably order it from GMPartsDirect pre-painted and install myself. Only 270 plus whatever tools you need unless you already have them

Mine is actually an RS... I wonder if I can get it with an RS badge?

I'm pretty sure I have seen RS badges like that floating around.

I was going to have the bowtie painted silver or IBM.... that's the only thing, I love the emblem and don't think I want to lose it <3

Sorry, thought I saw an SS in the pic in your first post. I've seen RS badges like that, not sure who might sell them. Silver or body color bowtie would look cool, though. Post pics when you get it done.

My vote would be: body color with RS or No emblem, just my choice.
If you do use stock bowtie, paint middle ibm.
gmpartsdirect painted one does ship with bowtie and mount for heritage grill.
An idea of what to expect ibm/heritage/RS.
My grill install thread

I re-used the stock rs emblem, with some modification.

How hard of an install is this? I'm having a new bumper cover put on wednesday but even if I order this stuff today I doubt it'll be in in time for my body guy to put it on when he installs my bumper cover...

DIY Heritage Grille Install video shows install great.
Took much longer to remove bowtie on the heritage, and make a bracket for rs than it did to do the bumper on/off and grill install. I would say taking time straight install is around 2 hrs. Nut and bolt work with the right tools.

Body color comes with bowtie installed. I added my rs to it as well. Looks good. See my pic at the heritage/bowtie thread this section

I'm having trouble locating the other Heritage thread from earlier this week. There is a guy on there who has the bow tie and the RS badge mounted to the grill which I thought looked real nice.
