Help Me!! I have a problem with Codes P0430 and P0420 with BBk LT Headers

Hi!

I installed the BBK LT headers in my Camaro 2010 V6, but I have a problem with error codes P0430 and P0420, and the average mileage is increase in rpm idle.

In this forum, I found the solution installing O2 Simulator,Today I install the O2 Simulator but the error codes doesn`t missing and the averegae mileage is increase in idle rpm.

What is the solution?

P.D. I erase codes with diagnostic machine but the error codes is in permanent codes. Sorry for my english.I'm very worried.

Greatings

With headers you must have a tune (Trifecta)...you have no choice or keep the CEL code.

Is this solution to just tune out (ignore) the codes so that you don't get the CEL to come on?

You have a misunderstanding of a custom tune, please note a custom tune using a chassi dyno is different than a "canned" tune from a handheld, go with the chassi dyno. Basically the tuner optimizes certain performance parameters at varying rpm, using a model (not female) for the mfg of the car, making sure the correct air fuel mixture is consistent through out the rpms This could take 3-5 pulls on the dyno. Its well worth it. Yes your gas mileage will decrease since you'll be burning more fuel, but not much.
