BMR END LINK FAILURE

Hello, had a BMR End Link Kit For Sway Bars, Front failure today, at first I thought the bolt came loose that cause this after spending 60 dollors at a auto part store since I was stuck on the side of the road and finally getting it taken off the bolt on the end link broke. it almost took out my ABS line and cause my chrome rim to get sractched really bad... I am going to contact BMR on Monday about this just wanted to share what happen.. Hofully BMR chimes in on this and does the right thing by me on this issue. its really upsetting to say the least... I am lucky it did not cause more damage or me to get into an accident.. this is a daily driver too with 1 day of auto crossing.. I do not get it...

That came from normal street driving? I've tracked Pumpkin several times and drove the bag off it with no issues.

My guess is unlucky and a bad part. BMR is top notch and I have been running their parts since I got my car. I have the end links and so far so good...

I'll keep watch on this though. I still can not tell from the picks what happened. Did the bolt break and the endlink got caught up in the wheel and thats what bent it?

Where is the other end of the hyme joint? Was it still on the upper end link mount?

K, now I get it. I was wondering how you bent the rod. I know BMR changed suppliers for the hymes in the early going. I'll be all over BMR on Monday to know why. Be some pissed if it happened to me. Pumpkin has every BMR part they offer to date for the Camaro, except LCA's which they claim will not work with my 17" Bogarts.

Don't get overly pissed, shit happens and parts fail. Its the service after the imcident that will tell... I am betting they take care of you. They have always been up-standing with my concerns. I have a good bit of their stuff too and really like it.

Sorry to hear what happened to your car. Glad your OK. Did you check the rear end links to see how they are holding up? Cause I just bought a pair of the rear ones.
