Noob Question: Cat-Back And CAI

I'm planning on installing a Cold Air Inductions CAI as well as a Corsa Cat-Back system. When I install these, will one or the other or both cause the engine or systems to have issues (check engine light ect.) and require a tune? If so, is there anyway to avoid the tune? I absolutely don't want to void my power-train warranty. I have pretty much zero experience with modifications on modern cars apart from regular maintenance. I just want to know what to expect when I install these two and how to fix any issues . All input is much appreciated!

Your good to go, catbacks and intakes were meant to be added. Don't worry about voiding your warranty till you get to custom tunes and long tube headers.

I have the Cold Air Inductions CAI and love it , no CEL and no issues. You dont have to get a tune, but I know you can to get even better gains. I know the CAI does not void any warranties. I am adding the ADM scoop soon as well as an exhaust, then I will probably get a tune just to optimize my gains, but its not needed. You are selecting a good combo, I cant speak for the exhaust but I know you will love the CAI! Post some pics when your finished, hope I helped you out a little bit.

what's a warranty? hahaha.. just kidding.

No sir, you won't have any issue. Sometimes they like to blame vibrations and noises on exhaust though, so if you have a dealer like that. find another.

Nope, zero mods needed. Fit like a glove. Also got the exhaust on. Took about 1.5 hours to install. I absolutely love the sound. Thanks Juiced1 for providing such good salesmanship on both upgrades!
