2011 camaro ls sport mode?

Ok so I have a 2011 camaro ls and was wondering if my car had sport mode? When I put it in m my the screen only goes to m6 is that sport mode? I thought it was supposed to display a S.

If you have an automatic you have sport mode. Put selector in M: gear changes much firmer; push either paddle on steering wheel back: manual: you choose when to change gears and to what gear controlled still by the car.

that aside it has three modes D S and M when you put it in D your in Drive mode shifts automaticly at low rpm less touqre so on

when you slid it into M your automaticly in S (sports mode) it will shift for you but at a higher RPM sucks more gas too and the steering is alot more responsive

if you hit the TAP buttons on the steering wheel while in S you shift into M mode where you completely control the gear shifting

hope that helps

it should automaticly when you put it into M and dont touch nothing else

if not you got a problum talk to your dealer cause it should go into S before M and only way to get into M1 or M2 what ever gear your in or what to be in is when you press the Tap Shift buttons behind the steering wheel

Looks like I'm going to the dealer.
I've tried everything. And the only thing it does when I put it in m and don't touch it only displays m6

I have a 2010, but it should be the same. From park pull the gear shift all way back and it displays S. Once you start playing with the paddle shifters it has Mx where x is the gear.

I have an LS auto as well and can't get the display to show "S". I don't think the LS does that. It does shift to a sportier mode, but the display remains "M6". I asked my dealer about it and he had no clue about sport mode. Also the owners manual for and LS says nothing about the display reading "S". I know that in other owners manuals it does mention it.

It is most likely just a Camaro LS thing. My 2LT/RS reads "S" when I put the Car on "M"
