What is the widest sized rim the stock rims can fit?

I just realized I effed up the title . What I meant was I need to know what is the widest rims the stock Perreli PZeros can fit (Front: P245/45ZR20 Rear:P275/40ZR20)? The reason I ask is because I am planning on buying some new rims soon and am planning on transferring the Pzeros onto them. I'd like the widest rim possible though because when it comes time to buy new summer tires, I want to get a wider set (305 rear maybe) and I hear that it can be somewhat unsafe to have that wide of a tire on a 9" wide rim. Can anyone help?

According to Tirerack.com, the OEM 245/45ZR20 will fit a 7.5-9.0" wheel, and the 275/40ZR20 will fit a 9.0-11.0" wheel. And yes, a 305 wide tire is too wide for a 9.0" wide wheel. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it is not recommended and as you said, probably not safe.

I have my OEM tires on 8.5" and 10.0" wheels. Personally, I would not want to put that 275/40 tire on anything wider than my 10.0" wheel, it would look too "stretched" in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice Blazzin1. I think I'll be going with just 8.5" front and 10" in the back.

Agreed. I wouldn't recommend anything wider than 20x8.5 front and 20x10.0 rear for the OEM tires.
