2011 2SS A/C Problem

Hey guys i've recently noticed that my camaro seems to be having a problem with the A/C not working.

For example when i get into the car and start it up usually the A/C will be left on from the last time i used the car. Although when the problem presents itself the A/C will always not be on, and even when i push the button for it to start, the button does not light up or activate the A/C. In order for it to work properly i have to turn the car off and back on.

Another issue with it is if i remote start the car and enter it often times the A/C will be off when i always leave it on, and at times it will again refuse to turn on.

This has been happening at least once a week.

Any one have a similar issue with their car? Recalls?

There's been a recall. It's a 5 minute re-programming fix.

Just had mine fixed today, found out only because I brought the car in for a different issue. Service guy didn't know what it fixed though. We've only had the car a week and it was 89 here a few days ago and had the air on realizing it wasn't cooling very well compared to my other vehicles.

Well technically it's not a recall but no there aren't any other programs like this that you should be worried about for the 2011 Camaro. If you have any other issues and would like to see if we have any documentation on them let me know!
