Came across this at an auction site here in Ohio (www.skipcoautoauction.com). I know it's been discussed in passed threads, but don't remember seeing any pictures. I don't think this one is an original! Love the hood!!!

There is a real Pete Rose edition but i dont think there was an official "Hit King", which i think even Pete Rose wouldn't want to be seen driving lol.

I saw this Camaro at a car show in Cinci not too long ago. Not my cup of tea, but I guess if you REALLY loved Pete Rose...
There were also some 4192/Pete Rose editions sold at Cincinnati dealerships. My neighbor at my old place has an SS with this particular package. It didn't have any graphics though-- was VR with some 4192 badging and stitching in the seats, etc. I recall him saying he paid around $50k for it. Again, I guess if you reaaaaally liked Pete Rose. This particular guy did. He was a huge Pete Rose fan apparently. To each their own! |
