INVOICE PRICING QUESTION
Hi. I'm new to the forum. In December, I'm ordering a 2012 1LT. We'll pay invoice because my wife's employer gets the preferred pricing. I've worked up the price based on invoice but have found a discrepancy between the MSRP on Edmunds and the order guide from Chevy on this forum for the auto trans and the conv./connect. pkg. Chevy's numbers are slightly higher and I would like to go with those. The invoice numbers are not on the Chevy order guide. However I need the invoice numners for those 2 items from Chevy. Does anyone have these numbers? I apprecieate any help offered.

Is the discrepancy just the destination charges? I had optioned one out the other day and got it to match.

Good question... neither chevrolet.com nor gmautobuilder.com have 2012 Camaro builders yet. I'd go with Edmunds.com.
Note on Edmunds: Their invoice prices are different from the pricing that your dealer will show you, because the dealer's invoice sheets tack advertising fees onto the invoice price. The Edmunds invoice prices do not include these advertising fees because (1) they vary geographically, and (2) GM reimburses the dealers these fees, so they're not really part of the dealer cost. So... the Edmunds invoice is always lower than the invoice listed on the dealer's printouts.

You're in luck. I just placed an order for a 2012 1LT this week and got both of those packages.
The Automatic transmission is $995/876/846 (list/invoice/dealer), and the convenience/connectivity package for a 1LT with automatic is $540/476/459 (it's more expensive than the manual, since you're getting the remote starter, which the manual doesn't). I'm not sure why there's a $1200 automatic option on that GM pricing sheet (maybe it just contains remote starter and not the other stuff in the C/CT package?), or what vehicles that applies to.
