can u paint the hood blanket

is it a good idea to paint the emblem on the hood blanket? im worried bout what the paint will do on that type of surface.

I thought about doing the ame thing, but didn't know how it would hold up with the material and heat. The only way to find out is to try. I mean what is there to lose???

Lol, the only thing I can see go wrong is the paint not hold up and just fade.

if you are talking about the bowtie under the hood then yes it can be painted. You will need to put a few coats of primer first because the paint will soak into the material. I have some pics of mine in my garage if you want to see.

As an FYI (in case you didn;t know), they make bowties for this location, here is one on put on my car.

Yes you can paint the hood blanket. A lot of people have gotten custom airbrushing done on them (as well as the trunk blanket).
