I've used water wetter in all my motorcycles with great success. The RP stuff should work the same but I could never find it locally and once you added shipping it killed any deal you could find.

After adding it the bikes always run noticeably cooler and the fan stopped going on while sitting in traffic. I'd definitely recommend it.

Purple Ice and Water Wetter only really work if you have at least 70% water in the cooling system. It needs water to work. Otherwise you won't see much of a difference. Won't hurt to use it though.

It totally depends on where you drive/live. You need to follow the antifreeze mixing directions for the temps your area will see; especially if there's any risk of freezing temps. Beyond that just follow the manufacturer specs based upon cooling system size. Here's the ones for water wetter; basically add 1 bottle.

I used water wetter in my 4th gen and I use it in my motorcycle...ive had good luck with it...I have not put any into my 5th gen yet. One thing I noticed was the cooling system in my 4th gen was unusually clean for dex cool...I'm not sure if the water wetter had anything to do with it or not

I use water wetter in my 79 with distilled water. Works great. With that, a cheap aluminum radiator and a 180 Degree thermostat it never runs over 190 degrees even in this 100+ degree some we have this year.
