this will be a v8 vs v6 thread obviously.. all the v8 guys will say v8 all the v6 guys will say v6 is a respectable choice.. on the real.. no one should make this choice but YOU.

I think it's no question - '11 2SS!
You get the v8, which is a WIN... plus you get all the comfort things that you'd get on the 2LT, like leather, etc. Just my $.02! |

yeah, it's hard to say what's right for you, you haven't given any parameters.
the V8 was for me. but if you want a bit better mileage, and don't care about the extra HP, then do V6. are they the same price? why are we comparing them? |

Food for thought. I haven't see one thread stating that "I'm trading my SS in for a V-6". Other the other hand, it seems like there is about one a week where they say "Trading in my V-6 for an SS.

Ok... I like the SS cuz it comes with HUD, Bluetooth, leather, and of course more power
The V6 on the other hand doesnt come with any of that here in Saudi.. Cloth interior, no bluetooth no HUD.. So the only thing that is left is the price, and the 2011 or the latest 2012 with few changes to the interior.. Still cant make up my mind |

I'm one of the many who traded up a 2LT for a 2SS...Go V8 and you won't regret it. If you get the V6, you will forever wonder/wish you went SS.

Hashim, if it doesn't have the bluetooth, the leather seats, and the HUD, it's not a 2LT.
The 2LT means it has all the bells and whistles. If it is a basic V6, it might very well be a 1LT or even an LS. In any case, you're from Saudi, so gas is subsidized; so I think you should go with the 2SS. You can obviously afford it, and the 2012 doesn't have than many new bells and whistles, especially in the non-2LT, non-2SS models.

honestly, their both the same, only difference is the extra 20 mph that you'd get with the ss, but lets be honest, do you see you self getting any where near 120? much less 180...?
