2SS order, need to fume, please respond - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok i ordered 2SS on 2-14-09, with Hurst. I have known about the constraint, but since my dealer hadnt got any of his 6 pulled yet, i was leaving the order alone hoping that by the time my order got pulled it would be available. So i asked my dealer the other day (Paul), did he know about the constraint? No....So im #3 i asked does the 2 in front of me also have Hurst? He says yes, so then i asked him did he not think he needed to take Hurst off, he gives me this mumbo jumbo about how he didnt think that it would affect the order since it is was supposed to be dealer installed anyways. So this was Saturday and he was supposed to check on it monday with the district GM rep, still no answer. My question for you Camaro5 guys is this, Have none of his orders been pulled and built yet because they still had Hurst on them? I didnt know since they were manually pulling orders, if they just would have skipped over his?

Anyone know?

I just dont wanna think that im delayed in getting my car because my dealer is an IDIOT!!!! IDIOT DEALER!!!

I had my dealer pull the hurst off of my order .. He actually emailed everyone with that option a while back and asked if we wanted to remove it since it was a constraint ..

It won't get pulled until the Hurst comes off constraint. You can still have it installed at the dealer after the vehicle comes in.

REMOVE IT AND MOVE TO #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your dealer is on the ball, you don't have to remove it until it gets picked up, then you have until the following Tuesday to take the Hurst option off. If you don't trust your dealer to watch it that close, you should take it off just in case. Otherwise, if they wait until its to late it will get skipped over.

He's def.dropping the ball, makes me wanna ask him to move me to priority #1, not take it off his other 2. Since I'm the one that figured it out, I'll def take car now/hurst later, rather than wait. Thanks the replys!!!!!I love this place!!!!!!

So if any of his were to get pulled he would be asked if he wanted to remove? Or he's uninformed, has 3 sold with hurst and isn't keeping up, and has already been skipped? If I pulled hurst off I'm still gonna be waiting on gm to pull it, right?
Dealer got 6 total, when do u think is reasonable for orders to get pulled?

Ok so today my dealer tells me hurst will be a factory installed option in 2 weeks. As uninformed as he's been I can't help but think it's bs. Anyone know anything?

Ask Paul if their dealership had a consensus spot FOR AN ORDER....if not, you missed nothing....if so, we'll be seeing those words posted up in this thread, as we so often see in others, ____ ________ __ __ _______ !

After all this time _________ __ __ ______ still is obvious. Is there not some basic test such as the abilty to tie a shoelace or feed oneself before they can purchase a franchise?
