Problems
So I have decided to enhance my rim size from a 20" to a 22x9 in the front and 22x10 in the back. My only concern is, will there be a potential for problems. To be more specific, will these problems arise: steering, suspension, computers setting off and drivetrain problems. If so, how severe.

There are a lot of people running around on that set up as well as 24" rims/tires. Just be careful with the rims you get. There are a ton of threads in the wheel section about the 22" rims not staying true.
You are putting a large, aluminum, multi-piece rim on a 4000 pound car. They are not as strong and are more prone to damage due to the low sidewall. Not to mention the amount of torque and strain from "spirited" driving. Personally, 20" is as big as I would go.
