Lingenfelter Race Engine Dyno Video!!!!!

Check out the Lingenfelter 358 CID LSx flat plane crank race engine for our new white Gen V Camaro SS. This engine is putting out 621 horsepower @ 9,000 RPM running NA. Below are several pictures of the build process. Click here to watch the video of this engine running on the dyno!!!

why the iron block with a N/A application? seems like its just added weight for no reason?

Try pushing an aluminum block at 9000 rpm / same compression and see what happens. I would not want to be anywhere near that dyno room..

That is wicked! I assume by flat plane crank you mean its a 180* crankshaft? I had a 392 SBC with a 180* crank in a drag car that was a lot of fun. Sounded like a pissed off bumble bee thru the light on the top end! Everybody thought the car had a six cylinder in it.
How are the harmonics? We had some problems getting it balanced properly but it was a much older design.

Its been done many times, there are turbo car running ls2 blocks running 20psi plus low 8's? So whats your point
