2011 Camaro 2SS L99.. 91/95 Octane?

As per your dealer, which is best for this camaro?

I didn't know there was such a thing as 95 octane?

But... per the owners manual.... 93 I believe. "premium" as they call it.

Premium is 91 here in Canada, so that's what it get's.

manual says 93...but here i can only get either 89 or 91..so that's what it gets.

95? never herd of that my self 93 is pritty rare in its self. I see ALOT on here only have 91 so yeah. Here in this state its common. But i know state to state it changes. I dont own a v8 (DUH) but i remeber reading ALOT people say the owners manual is 91 or better (sence 91 is more common then 93). Hope that helps

wait here in my state they have 81 89 91 93 and i think 95 crap i am going to have to go back to that one gas station i saw. It had 4 or 5 grades normal pump to pump around here has three grades. 81 89 and 93

You need to put the highest grade fuel you can find for optimal performance.
Select Petrocanada stations sell 94 and that's what I feed the beast.

are the 2011's different than 2010 ? My 2010 manual says 91 octane, running 93 or 95 or 110 octane when the car is tuned for 91 octane will not make it perform better or get better mileage.

Here guys in Saudi, we have 91 & 95... I've been feeding my 2009 Teaverse LT with 91 since I bought it & it runs ok.. Thought it might be different for Camaros!!

runed 91 my l99 runed like a boat ...95 then fuse pull it became a camaro

I think 91 is perfect.. Only some german cars here in Saudi uses 95

Here is what my 2011 manual has to say:
If the vehicle has the 6.2L V8 engine
(VIN Code W) or the 6.2L V8 engine
(VIN Code J), use premium
unleaded gasoline with a posted
octane rating of 91 or higher.
For best performance, use premium
unleaded gasoline with a posted
octane rating of 93. You can also
use regular unleaded gasoline
rated at 87 octane or higher, but
the vehicle's acceleration could be
slightly reduced, and a slight audible
knocking noise, commonly referred
to as spark knock, might be heard.

I use to pump 93 back when I lived in texas.

Now that I moved to Oklahoma I only get to pump 91. But IDK if its just me but I swear the car the car feels faster and runs better on 91.
