Help me decide, 2LT vs 2SS

My Pros (excluding cons) so far, correct me if I'm wrong and feel free to add...

2LT

Almost as much horse as a Mustang GT
Same features as the 2SS
Better MPG
Cheaper price and insurance

2SS

Obviously the power...
Higher value down the road
the roar of the V8

What do you guys think?

Why buy a Camaro that can't beat a Mustang GT. Go for the Gusto

do you plan on running it hard, or do you just want a nice car with a kick. if it's the latter, the LT should be perfectly fine & you get all the extra benefits of insurance, fuel efficiency, and initial price

2SS ALL THE WAY. NO DOUBT. Assuming of course you can afford either comfortably. I would never recommend getting in over your head just because you can...

The thing is, I can afford both cars, but I have doubts about getting financed for what a 2SS would cost, or even being able to order a 2SS, since I've heard they are tough to order around here, for MSRP anyways.

Thumbs up

I agree with these guys, go with the 2SS. seems to me that a V6 will not be enuff for you. Hay V6 is an awesome car YES but r u going to want more later? I guess you have to ask yourself, awesome power HP Performance VS Great HP and just 15 less HP then a mustang GT and gas mpg with the 6.

If you can afford it....2SS brother.

Think of it this way. I dont know of any chick that after getting her first boob job, didnt wish she had gotten them bigger the first time. The actual stat is 68%.

This will probably apply to the Camaro also.

I'm just sayin...

my philosophy with this debate (as i've seen it countless times on here) is that if you have to ask, the V6 will do everything you need. one of the disciples posted a video of him driving a V6 & having to ask if they were sure it wasn't the V8!

Is this a daily driver or just a weekend car?

If it's a daily driver go with the 2LT (make sure you get the C&C package)

If it's a weekend car, get the 2SS.

If you order the LT you will always wonder what the SS would be like, but if you order the SS..........there is no wondering. If you can afford it 2SS!

Yeah, my original thought was to be a little more "practical" and get the 2LT, as these things are my daily drivers...but, after already having a V8 in my 2002...I would have always wondered...so I said screw practical

But, if purchase price and cost of ownership is truly no issue, I would think you'd be happier with the 2SS.
