This is the type of thing that gives Camaro drivers a bad name...
A Saskatchewan man faces up to five years in jail after he was arrested Friday for driving more than twice the allowed speed on a rural Alberta highway.
The RCMP in Airdrie, Alta. said its traffic unit clocked the man driving a newer model Chevrolet Camaro SS at a speed of 235km/h in the posted maximum 100 km/h zone. He was traveling eastbound on Highway 9 just east of Highway 21. The 58-year-old man from Saskatoon, Sask. was arrested at the scene and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was later released on $500 bail and is scheduled to appear in an Airdrie court on Oct. 27. Those charged with a dangerous driving conviction face a prison sentence of up to five years, the RCMP said. |

 I would drive triple the speed limit in Saskatchewan. It is in the middle of nowhere with no humans anywhere insight. LOL

Bye Bye new SS. At that speed it's a forfeit of vehicle since it was witnessed by the officer. Wonder how long it took the patrol car to catch up.
