OEM Halogen to OEM HID headlight conversion.

Hi all,
I was wondering if someone could tell me what OEM parts are
needed to convert the standard OEM Halogen headight to a
OEM HID headlight set up....I want to use OEM parts for the
conversion.....This is my 2nd Camaro BTW....I had a IBM 2SS/RS
but I sold it late last year (Big mistake)..I'm getting a 2010
Black 2SS car next week....

Thanks very much....

Thread from the dead...but i'm sure lots of people have done this by now. Are these really the only parts needed? Steps to install? Cost? My 1SS is the first non-HID car I've has since '03 and I had forgotten how hard it is to see at night without them, and how annoying oncoming HID lights are without competing lights of your own.

I want to swap my SS headlights with someone who got the non-rs headlights + money ... I use the car only for dragracing ... is it that simple, that both wiring harnesses are compatible with the other car???

Thank you
