TAPshift or Manual?
Hi Everyone,
I have driven automatics and manuals, but I have never driven a car with Tapshift. What is it like? How does it feel? Is it fun? Strange? Different? Natual? Fast to shift? Does it get boring / annoying? And do you have to have both hands on the wheel to shift up/down? |

Hi,
I had a C6 Vette with the A6 paddle shifters. I found it gimmicky and never really used it much. Having the trans set to sport mode and allowing it to shift itself felt better. I will probably never own another automatic car as long as I can use my left leg...the manual is just so much more engaging, especially with a V8!

Will Drive For Food

It's pretty unexciting, but it gets the job done. You can hold the gear as long as you want, and shift when you want. For the most part, anyway. The computer won't let you destroy the engine.

Manual All the Way Feel Every HP/Torque in your hand
btw the Tapshift isn't bad its just a normal Automatic gearbox that is exactly like a Clutch less Manual Gear box you can shift with a tap up and down as you desire

It looks way better then the corvette paddle shifts i didnt care for them much because the plus and minus are on both paddles here it in plus on the left minus on the left much better in my opinion
