45th anniversary pricing

I am currently in the process of buying the 2012 Ann edition and was wondering how this compares to what others got,

2ss coupe
45th anniversary package
Automatic

Invoice is $37,184.10
His price out the door tax tags etc is $40,387 I think when factoring in the 6 percent pa sales tax plus tags he's high by about ah grand, any insight would be greatly appreciated. I do have a gm card that I can redeem to get a $1000 off the above price.

I will be paying cash with no trade involved if that helps.

instead of telling you to just order from becky which isn't a bad idea... my advice is to find a price you are comfortable with and go from there. but 40,000 out the door sounds good to me, thats 2000 under msrp after ttl!!! how much better is every one else getting?
if someone else on here got over 2000 off out the door pricing i would like to know too!!!

MSRP is $38,910 and when I do invoice pricing it would be $37,185.
Your dealer invoice $37,184.10 + 6% tax ($2,231.05) = $39,415.15. Then add doc fees, tags and registration, advertising etc. So I think $40,387 is a good out the door price.
If you think the dealer is $1000 higher than it should be, then ask to see the paperwork so you can see how he came up with the figure. If the dealer wants to sell the car they will have no problem showing the paperwork. They might have charged extra for dealer prep/doc fees or something along those lines.

Just my opinion, I hope this helps.
Good luck and let us know the outcome!

Just finished my deal today, keep in mind I had $1000 off for my gm card, and my out the door price was 38,538. Not sure if I could have done a little better or not but I'm satisfied.

Congrats! I have always thought that if your out the door price is less than msrp than you have gotten a good deal.
